LENZING™ ECOVERO™ Viscose Fibres
We've been using LENZING™ ECOVERO™ viscose fibres in our collections since 2019.
LENZING™ ECOVERO™ fibres are derived from controlled or certified wood sources and are produced with at least 50% lower carbon emissions and water consumption compared to conventional viscose.*
*Results are based on LCA standards (ISO 14040/44) and are available via Higg MSI (version 3.7). LENZING™ and ECOVERO™ are trademarks of Lenzing AG.
TENCEL™ Lyocell Fibres
TENCEL™ Lyocell fibres are derived from controlled or certified wood sources and are produced using a resource-efficient closed-loop manufacturing process.*
*Savings consider solvent recovery during production. Modström has included styles made with TENCEL™ Lyocell fibres in its collections since 2020. TENCEL™ is a trademark of Lenzing AG.
Organic Cotton
Organic cotton is a natural fibre grown without the use of synthetic pesticides or genetically modified organisms (GMOs), helping to support more responsible farming practices.
Recycled Textiles
While conventional polyester is made from fossil-based resources, recycled polyester fibres can be produced from plastic bottles, pre-loved garments, and other production waste. Recycled materials help keep existing resources in use for longer and reduce the need for virgin raw materials.
Member of the Leather Working Group
We are proud members of the Leather Working Group (LWG), a global non-profit organisation representing stakeholders across the leather industry.
LWG-certified tanneries are regularly audited against the industry's leading environmental standards, covering areas such as water and energy consumption, waste and chemical management, and health and safety. Tanneries that demonstrate consistently outstanding performance are awarded the LWG Gold Rating.
