The terms and conditions apply to the purchase of goods at www.modstrom.com.
The following terms and conditions apply to all agreements that the customer (hereinafter "you") meets with modstrom.com. By using this website and/or placing an order with us, you agree to the terms and conditions that apply to us. Make sure you have read and understood the terms and conditions that apply to us before you place your order. We reserve the right to change these terms from time to time without prior notice to you. The version of the terms and conditions that apply to your order will be those that can be found on the website at the time you place your order.
These terms and conditions apply to the purchase of goods on www.modstrom.com and for delivery in Austria, Belgium, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Greenland, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, and Sweden.

Order
All prices include VAT. If you are looking for a special item that you cannot see on the webshop, you can contact us at support@modstrom.com and we may be able to get the item.
Www.modstrom.com is open 24 hours a day, so you can almost always shop online with us. However, it may happen that we close the shop for maintenance. You can only realize purchases when the store is open and available.
To shop on www.modstrom.com you must be 18 years of age and possess a valid credit card that we accept. If you are not yet 18 years of age, however, you can still purchase items if you have obtained your guardian's consent or otherwise have a legal right to enter into the purchase.
We reserve the right to cancel a purchase contract without being liable for compensation or other expenses, in these situations:
- Your payment details are incorrect or cannot be verified
- Your order is placed with the purpose of committing fraud etc. or is placed in connection with criminal or illegal acts
- There is an accidental error on www.modstrom.com, such as a payment error.
Payment
Payment can be made using the following means of payment: iDEAL, VISA, Mastercard, Paypal, ApplePay, Trustly, Amex, Swish, and Vipp.
When paying by card the payment will be reserved on your account in accordance with the terms of your card, until we withdraw or reject the payment.
We debit the money as soon as the goods are shipped. We hold any card fees associated with your purchase.
Regarding Ideal
When paying with Ideal the payment will be withdrawn right away, according to the terms of your bank.
We strive to ship the same day if you place your order before 12 p.m. on weekdays. Shipping is via GLS Global.
Shipping and delivery – international orders
We deliver goods to addresses in Austria, Belgium, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Greenland, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden and the United States.
We do not ship to the United Kingdom.
The expected delivery time is 3-10 working days after your order is placed. The delivery time can take longer for Greenland.
We offer the following delivery methods: GLS Global and DHL Express.
We offer free delivery on purchases over €150.
Please note that longer delivery times may occur on holidays and sale periods.
Shipping and delivery to Norway
Modström has a VOEC number. The VOEC number applies to goods valued at up to NOK 3000. If the value of the goods exceeds this limit, you must follow the normal VAT rules and processes in Norway.
Receipt for receipt of order and order confirmation
When you have ordered one or more items from us, you will receive an electronic receipt for the receipt of your order. However, the purchase agreement is only binding when you have received an email from us stating that your order is on its way.
Right of withdrawal
You can cancel your purchase without reason within 14 days. If you have purchased several items in one order, you can choose to cancel the purchase of some or all items. We do not refund packaging tax.
The cancellation period expires 14 days after the day on which you or another person whom you have chosen to receive the goods (but not the carrier) get the goods.
If the deadline expires on a public holiday, Saturday, Constitution Day, Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve, the deadline is extended to the following weekday.
This is how you withdrawal
Write us an e-mail: support@modstrom.com why you want to withdraw from the contract entered and then return the product to us.

You cannot cancel by refusing to receive the item or by failing to pick it up without at the same time giving us a notice that you are canceling the order.
Returns – Need to return something?
If you’ve changed your mind and want to return one or more items, you can easily order a GLS return label through our return portal. A return label will cost 10 EUR, that will be deducted from your refund amount.
The returns portal does not work with returns coming from Greenland, USA or Norway. Please read the section: “Returning from USA, Norway or Greenland”.

Once your return is set up, you’ll receive a return label and a QR code via email. You can either print the label and attach it to your package or show the QR code at a GLS parcel shop where they’ll print it for you. Don’t forget to include the returns form in the package.
How to return:
- Go to this link: GLS Returns Portal and fill in the form.
- You will receive a return label and a QR code by email. Print the label and attach it to your package, or present the QR code at a GLS parcel shop to have the label printed for you.
- Pack the items securely in the packaging they arrived in. Make sure that the tags are still attached, otherwise the item(s) cannot be returned.
- Drop off your return package at the nearest GLS parcel shop and show the QR code. The shop will scan the code and print the return label for you.
- Remember to get a receipt when you drop off the package. This serves as proof that the package has been handed over to GLS, in case it gets lost.
- Your return is now on its way to us, and we will process it as quickly as possible. The 10 EUR for the return label will automatically be deducted from your refunded amount.
If you are returning items and would like a refund, the amount will be credited back to the card you used for the purchase within 10 business days. Return shipping costs must be covered by you in case of a change of mind.
14-day full return policy
You have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 days of receiving your items. The item must not have been used, but you are welcome to try it on. Remember that the tags must remain on, just like when trying on clothes in a physical store.
Returning from USA, Norway or Greenland
If you order from one of the above-mentioned countries, you must pay for the exchange or return yourself; Including any extra payment regarding any handling with the Customs Agency or Bring when the return package crosses the border to Denmark.
This is done by sending the package from a post office to the address below. You are therefore responsible for sending the package back and are also responsible for covering the costs yourself. You can send the package off with exactly the shipping company that suits you, but the package must be sent directly to our warehouse as a business parcel with delivery – we cannot collect it from a parcel shop. We will not be able to help you with the returns send to us to a pickup parcel shop.

You must pay for the return of goods yourself in case of a cancellation.
Exchanging Christmas gifts
Items purchased after November 15th can be exchanged until January 15th under normal conditions.
Returning without using the return portal
If you prefer, you can arrange the return yourself by purchasing a return label at the post office or a parcel drop-off point. Remember, the package must be sent directly to our warehouse as a business parcel with delivery – we cannot collect it from a parcel shop.
Items must be returned in secure packaging. Be sure to get a receipt for the shipment, as you are responsible for the package until it reaches us.

Exchanging items
If you’d like to exchange an item for a different size, simply return the original item and place a new order at www.modstrom.dk. This ensures the size you need is still in stock. We will refund the purchase price of the returned item as soon as possible, typically within 3-5 business days. Don’t forget to get a receipt when you drop off the package, as it serves as your proof of return.

Bought a gift?
Be sure to keep both the original packaging and the receipt so that the gift recipient can use them if they need to return the item. Once the return is processed, the refund will be credited to the account used for the original purchase. We cannot transfer the refund to a different account.
Received a gift?
If you’ve received a gift and would like to return it, you will still need to log into the returns portal using the order number and the postcode where the order was shipped. After filling in the necessary information, you can choose to have the QR code or return label emailed to you.
The refund will be credited to the original account used for the purchase. Unfortunately, we cannot transfer the refund to a different account.
Documentation of your purchase and return form
You must attach a copy of the order confirmation, invoice, or other proof of your purchase. Additionally, it will facilitate the processing if you attach a completed return as we enclose it in all our shipments. If you have lost it, download a new one right here
Refund by cancelation
If you cancel your order before it is sent out, we will refund all payments received from you, including delivery costs.
We will refund the amount in any case no later than 30 days from the date on which we received your notice of cancellation. However, we can withhold the amount until we have received the goods back, or until you have sent documentation that the goods have been returned.
We will make such a refund using the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction unless you have expressly agreed otherwise. In any case, you will not be charged any fees because of the refund.
Condition of the item upon return and packaging
As a consumer, you have the right to take the goods into "eyesight", which is the same right that applies to a purchase realized in a physical store. You may after receipt only use the goods in a way that you can maintain the shape, characteristics, and the way they function. If the product is used, you can get back the price paid only partly or not at all. It is the consumer who has to pay for the potential depreciation of the item. We preserve the right to value the item according to what we can get for it in a resale.
You must return the item in its original packaging. The packaging must be opened but not destroyed. If the packaging is missing or damaged, this may constitute a decrease in value for which you are liable.
You should also ensure that the item is securely wrapped when you return it.
You may lose the right to receive back your money, in whole or in part. This happens if the product is impaired because:
- You have actually taken the product into use,
- It has been damaged while you were responsible for it,
- You have used the items in another way than what was required in order to maintain the shape, characteristics, and the way they function.
- You did not follow the requirements of our return policy regarding sealing, product type, etc.
Complaints - if there is something wrong with the product
The Sale of Goods Act(Købeloven) applies if you buy a product that has a defect in the purchased item. A defect is, for example, a material or manufacturing defect or incorrect information about what you have purchased. In contrast, e.g. normal wear and tear or self-inflicted damage is not a defect.
You can complain about defects in the product for up to 2 years from the time of delivery. You can contact our customer service department at +45 88 53 02 12 or support@modstrom.com.
You must contact us within a reasonable time after you have discovered the error. If it is a question of shipping damage, we ask you to inform us as soon as possible in any case. If you contact us within 2 months of discovering the error, your complaint will always be timely.
We ask that you provide as much detail as possible about what the problem is and submit pictures of the error. If we need to examine the item, it must be sent to:

You can get a free shipping label by writing to support@modstrom.com.
If you choose to return the item yourself, we will refund your reasonable and documented shipping costs, but no more than what it costs us when you use our package label.
The item must be sent in proper packaging.
Missing an item in your order?
If you are unexpectedly missing an item from your order, please contact our support immediately at support@modstrom.com. If the packaging is broken upon receipt, the email must contain:
- Photos of the broken packaging, where you can clearly see the label from us
- Style name of the missing item
- Order number
Complain options
If we cannot agree on what you are entitled to, you have the following appeal options:
A complaint about a product can be submitted to Nævnenes Hus, Mæglingsteamet for Forbrugerklager, Toldboden 2, 8800 Viborg via the Complaint Portal for Nævnenes Hus. The mediation team will try to resolve the dispute by mediation, and if it is not possible to find a solution, you can bring the complaint before the Consumer Complaints Board.
It is basically a prerequisite for making a complaint that the product you want to complain about costs at least DKK 1,110 and a maximum of DKK 100,000. For complaints about clothes and shoes, the price must be at least DKK 720. You must pay a fee to have the complaint processed.
The EU Commission's online complaints portal can also be used when submitting a complaint. It is particularly relevant for consumers residing in another EU country. Complaints can be submitted here - http://ec.europa.eu/odr. When submitting a complaint, please provide our email address: support@modstrom.com.
Gift card
Gift cards for www.modstrom.com are valid for 2 years after the gift card is issued. Any residual value can be redeemed for up to one year after the gift card expires. The Gift card can not be exchanged for money.
Disclaimer of error
We reserve the right for stock errors, printing errors, and price errors. In the event of an error, we reserve the right to cancel the order after we have informed the buyer of this.
Confidentiality
Modström takes responsibility for all the personal information you provide us with. We use this information to assess the agreement, for deliveries, to take care of the customer relationship arising therefrom, for pursuing outstanding payments, fraud prevention, and abuse, and to comply with legal requirements.
Modström does not submit any information to third parties. The information is available only for the company of Modström. In case you wish to gain insight into the personal information we keep on you, please contact support@modstrom.com.
Colours
We cannot guarantee that the colors displayed on the webshop will be the exact colors of the actual garments. The color reproduction depends on the settings on your computer.
