Luna klestrup edit
Autumn is here and so is our new collection. We have teamed up with the Danish content creator and influencer Luna Klestrup and asked her to curate our current FW22 styles. Luna builds her fall wardrobe based on basics I neutral colors and heavy knits, that she can easily mix into her already existing wardrobe. We love Lunas eclectic and inspiring Scandi-style, and we are very proud to introduce her edit for Modström.
What’s most important for you, when building your wardrobe for fall?
I think it’s really important to invest in some good stable pieces, that can easily be used in different outfits. A couple of soft knits and a good oversized coat is crucial for me when autumn hits.
How do you re-style your summer essentials in the colder months?
I like to re-use my favorite pieces from my summer wardrobe in the colder months. Basics in neutral colors are easy to wear, and great for building an outfit with a lot of layers.
You have chosen the SallieMD coat – How do you style that?
The Sallie coat is one of my absolute favorites for fall. It goes with almost anything and I love the fit, which has a lovely loose silhouette. I like to style it with the AmayaMD tracksuit pants, to give it a bit of edge.
What's it been like styling the Modström FW22 collection?
It’s been super fun working with the collection. I’ve really enjoyed putting my own twist on the different looks. There are a lot of timeless classics, that I will use again and again, as well as key-items, that really shines through and makes the different looks feel more unique.
What approach did you style the collection with?
I really like a contrast in my clothes. As an example, I chose to style the AmayaMD tracksuit pants with my vintage ballerinas. I love that those two don’t necessarily go together, but I think it creates an interesting look and contrast. It’s often looks like that, that I feel the most comfortable in.
For me it’s crucial that clothes feel good and suits a busy life. I’m always on-the-go, so it’s important that what I wear has a practical function as well.
Modströms clothes always feel very premium. It is cool, practical, very comfortable and easy to wear.
What trends are you most into this fall?
This fall I’m very into a more toned-down, laissez-faire look. I love to combine tonal looks, or use different shades of the same color, to make a cohesive and easy look.
